God has placed the Kelowna CRC in the Glenmore Valley on purpose for a purpose. We value this area He has put us, so our core values have been taken from the very name of the valley in which we are situated. Therefore the core values are:
Glorifying God - God's love for us is centered around strong, relevant, biblical preaching in spirit filled worship services that are Christ centered and engage the heart of the worshipper.
Love for the lost and seeking - Having a passion to draw in, welcome and embrace the lost and seeking, we display a Christ-like love.
Embracing Jesus as our Savior and the only way to the Father, we allow His Spirit to guide and direct our lives.
Never stop praying - With personal devotions and an active prayer life, we will grow into our commitment to God and to each other.
Music - Our music ministry is an integral part of our praise of God. Musical expression through voice and instrument is a delight to God.
Offering our resources - All we have is a gift from God. So in thankfulness we are committed to faithful stewardship in our giving to local needs, CRC, denomination and permitting community use of our facilities.
Recognizing that God creates each person in a unique way, we encourage the discovery, development, and use of spiritual gifts as an expression of gratitude to God.
Encourage one another - Belonging to God's family makes us brothers and sisters in Christ. We will help and encourage one another in life's struggles, celebrate its blessings and provide opportunities for social interactions.
