Each week kids enter Small Children elementary classrooms to be greeted by our warm and friendly team of leaders. The sounds of energetic, worshipful music can be heard as children learn to worship God. They will hear Bible lessons presented in such an interactive, creative way that they will be able to apply the truths learned to real life. Kids sense the love of God from their team of dedicated leaders who are committed to serving Christ by leading kids.
Grades 3-4 Students will enter the Extreme to find awesome leaders who are there to welcome and "build" into their lives. They will find several game stations to choose from as they wait for the program to begin. The program is designed to educate and entertain or "edutain" them. An MC directs the program which consists of: Music with "live" singers; team competitions; a biblical teaching lesson on DVD; a bible memory verse of the week; "Team Time," where students will reflect on what they have just learned; and testimonies from children on DVD who have already lived out the lesson in their own lives. Each student will take home the weekly lesson, which lists three ways to live out what they learned. If a student completes the lesson during the week and brings it back the following weekend they will receive a prize. Most of our lessons are developed for a six to eight week series time and teach biblical truths about character, values and the church. We have binders available at a minimal cost for them to learn about the five purposes of the church and to hold their weekly lessons. An adult MUST check-in and check-out the child. Grades 5 & 6 When entering the classroom the child will be checked into our computer system by one of our trained volunteers and be given a name tag for personal identification. The adult checking the child into the classroom is given an identification label that is necessary to release the child at the end of the service hour. 5th and 6th graders may obtain their own Small Children identification tag that will allow them to check themselves in and out. This is providing the parent has clearly discussed a meeting place for the child after the service time. Please note that for safety and security reasons no child will be released from the room during dark evening hours. For those evening service times an adult must pick up the child.
